The film shows a historical, musical and informative overview about the birth of Bossa Nova, in the 1950s. The musical movement reached its peak in 1962, when it definitively became international in a concert at Carnegie Hall (New York). Featuring exclusive interviews and presentations by Roberto Menescal, Carlos Lyra, João Donato, Alaíde Costa, Johnny Alf, Kay Lira, Leny Andrade, Chris Delano, Joyce, Sergio Ricardo, Billy Blanco - all living remnants of the time and some current followers -, Coisa Mais Linda contains archive images of shows, international performances, as well as foreign artists who participated in this movement at the time.
