When her massage school classmate Selena recommends she check out The Rub of Sugarland, a spa an hour away in Sugar Land, Riley meets its sexy owner Georgia Cummings and decides to give it a try. On her first day, she’s stunned to discover that select clients get “special” treatment. After making it clear that she will not sexually service anyone, Riley hurries home to find that Kyle has left her. Not wanting to take a job at the hair salon where her mom Linette and best friend Lacey work, she heads back to The Rub of Sugarland intent on doing whatever she has to to keep her and her seven-year-old twins Katie and Travis in their home.\n\nSaying Kyle might be in Colorado, Riley’s brother-in-law Evan encourages her to accept that her husband is gone. And while Linette worries that all the family drama has driven Garrett away, she’s pleasantly surprised when he wants another date. As Riley looks to hold her family together, she tells Travis and Katie that their dad won’t be coming home anytime soon.

With things at the Rub threatening to fall apart following several staff resignations, Georgia returns to help out. But because her new boyfriend knows nothing about what goes on there, Georgia asks that Riley continue managing the business until she can figure out a plan. So after making peace with archrival Selena in order to keep the doors open, Riley turns her attention to her work, starting with servicing a powerful and kinky spa client, Judge Hollis Overton.\n\nWhile fending off the disapproving glances at a school science fair, Riley finds a sympathetic ear in fellow mother Karina Lake. Desperate to get a better handle on the workload at the Rub, Riley begins interviewing new girls. After meeting a college student and part-time stripper named Nikki, Riley thinks she has potential to help with the work from the client list. Though Selena is unhappy with having to share the wealth, when Nikki says she’s willing to play along, Riley realizes she has an employee who can be trusted.\n\nAs a result of a deal Kyle made with a recently released inmate, Riley comes into possession of thousands of dollars in cash from the sale of the stolen wire. Warned about the consequences of getting caught with Kyle’s ill-gotten gains, Riley tries returning the money to Mick Vandermeyer, the shady owner of the construction company that was the victim of Kyle’s crime. But after taking the cash from Riley, Vandermeyer refuses to drop the charges against her husband.\n\nWith Georgia offering to call in some favors in an effort to keep the Rub from being targeted by the police, Riley hopes a date with Evan will take her mind off her problems – until a phone call from Kyle ruins the mood. When Linette reveals that she knows something’s up with Evan, Riley buries the client list at a small ranch owned by her mom. Finally, as regular Rub client Judge Overton works to block any search warrants, Houston PD Detective Munroe warns Riley that she can only hide for so long.
